"Mankind cannot endure perfection; it stifles him. He demands that even the saints should cast a shadow. If they, these holy ones who have lived so greatly but who still carry their shadows with them, can approach God, well then, there is hope for the worst of us." - Robertson Davies (Fifth Business)

spring break is off to a good start. last night i went to the movies with katie, erin, pat, chris, monchie, nick, and some other people were there but i didnt know them. we saw resident evil. the plot is horrible, the dialouge is cliche, and the acting isnt exactly oscar-worthy but that is still the most scared i have ever been while watching a movie. i screamed quite a few times which is odd because i never scream because of movies. i spent the whole movie gripping onto katie and closing my eyes until "the scary part's over". if you feel like being scared shitless, go see resident evil. afterwards we went to pat's house and fell asleep on the floor watching evil dead: army of darkness. i didnt see much of it because i was too busy sleeping. we woke up at about 8 and chris took us back to katie's i fell asleep on katie's bed for a few minutes. then pat, chris, and monchie came over b/c pat left a pack of cigarettes in katie's coat pocket. so we watched tv for awhile and then they left and i left about an hour later. so i'm hoping the rest of spring break will be fun. maybe i'll go down to cancun and get drunk with some frat boys. anyone wanna come? anyone? anyone? meh, i thought not...
